Version 2
Contest rules
How a tournament runs, who may enter and vote, and how a result is decided.
Art Madness runs tournaments of artwork. Artists enter, fans vote matchup by matchup, and each round narrows the field until one piece is left.
Voting is one vote per person per matchup. You may change your vote until that round closes; once it closes, the result stands.
An account exists so a vote can belong to somebody. We ask for one after you have already picked, never before you have looked — and your pick is held across signing up rather than thrown away.
By entering a tournament, you grant Art Madness a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to display your entered work in the tournament bracket, on result pages, and in the share cards those pages generate. You keep every other right, and withdrawing your entry ends it.
No cash prize is awarded and no prize drawing runs. Recognition in a tournament is reputation, not money. If that ever changes, the rules for it will be published here first and you will be asked to accept them before taking part.
